The Angloe Saxon people built their own houses. This is intersting because they were very simple. The Anglo Saxon women did not work and the men did. This is not how society works today which is a good thing. They loved eating food and having feasts in the hall. They drank ale and mead( a kind of bear made with sweets and honey. They grew carrots cabbages apples and plums. Their clothing was made of whool. This is what I most found interesting.
